I was just gonna post something similar. This is ridiculous. No, actually what is ridiculous is people waiting in mile and a half long lines to walk by her casket. She was a person, but I suspect many of those people think she was some kind of deity.

I watched a couple of hours of it this morning.
The military precision and uniforms is what kept my attention.
Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.
It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.

It’s all just a distraction... look at what the right hand is doing so you don’t pay attention to the left. To be clear, are you saying that the Queen of the UK croaked in order to provide a distraction to American politics? Or are you saying that the all of the ceremony around the funeral, which has been planned down to every minute detail for probably 15-20 yrs was planned in a way to provide a distraction "just in case" American politics went to sh!t many years in the future? Can we not just accept that all of the "distraction" is just them following their traditions after the passing of their longest serving Monarch in their 1000+ history? This event was ALWAYS going to be one of the most covered media events in history, regardless of the political environment when it happened.

It’s all of the coverage. I understand the ceremony and their ways but this constant news / TV coverage. They need to be covering what’s happening live in this country and the effects of our open boarders are having. Not some royalty that’s Embalmed so much that she’ll never rot. Get on with it and put her in her final resting place.
