What’s the average these days to have a lawyer create a simple will (if I die, my wife gets everything)?

My wife and I just spoke to different lawyers about getting a will for each of us, dual powers of attorney for both and a living will for both of us. One said $950 and the other $600

I pulled this off the net....Attorney's hourly fees range between $100 and $400 depending on their experience and the type of case. Attorneys in small towns or lawyers in training cost $100 to $200 per hour, while experienced lawyers in metropolitan areas charge $200 to $400 hourly.

A young man in Daphne did a living will and medical power of attorney for the wife and I several years ago. $350 I think

About 250 here for a simple will

My dad had a living will done last week for $400...he don't have a lot, few rental houses and a lil land

looked at some forms at Office Max last week for wills, POA, BOS, even fill in the blank deeds and more

$400-500 in my experience. that includes medical directive.

Im sure the one that just got arrested will do it for a little bit of nothing

I wrote my own Will....had my nephew who is a Lawyer in B'ham look over it....said all was good. He said go have it Notarized and It's Binding.

Wife and I had Will, Living Will , POA prepared last year for each of us , total bill $500 .

We had a new will prepared, medical directives, POA, and a trust set up for the businesses and real estate properties to move into, plus a trust for Jacob who is only 8. Total was around $1600. Basic will should be 500 or less.

Ozarktroutbum on here is an attorney. He did a LLC for me. I’m sure he can do a will.
