The dudes that think they're chicks and chicks that think they're dudes are bad enough....but I feel sorry for them more than anything, because they're suffering from unaddressed mental illness. The ones that really piss me off though, are the straight ones that still feel the need to tell what their "preferred pronouns" are, even though they "identify" as what they biologically are, as if they're doing so in solidarity with the trans crowd....ie, a biological male stating his "preferred pronouns" are He/Him.

If I refer to a guy as he/him or a chick as she/her and they try to correct me, I'll apologize to them and tell them they just earned a new pronoun/name and will refer to them as a dumb mf'er from then on.

We went on a weekend trip with my mom and she was asking about the corewct pronoun usage. So, I told her the correct word to use was shim. My wife gave me the stink eye real bad, but let it ride for about 1/2 a day until my 10 year old blirted it out. Then I had to tell everyone that "shim" was not considered a nice thing to say. Then both my mother and wife gave me the stink eye as I felt very proud of myself.

Some of the younger folks at work have their "pronouns" in there signature line on their emails. I told the wife I was going to put mine on my Emails and that mine would be "Mister, Master, and The Man". She told me I probably shouldn't.

I'm simply too damn old to start changing the way I've talked for all my life so my vocabulary isn't going to change. If that offends you then don't talk to me. A pretty easy solution.

There’s a dude at the local Winn Dixie that has a name tag with Rose on it and below that gives HIS preferred female pronouns. I don’t go for that crap and every time HE rings up whatever I’m buying, I always say “thanks man” or dude, bud, brother, etc…. He may be screwed in the head but I’m not participating in any of that.

They can practice mental illness all they want, but I’m not encouraging or participating. You either have xx or xy chromosomes as god intended and that will never change. I feel sorry for those lost souls who hate themselves so badly.
