I wonder if registering as a Democrat would spare you? funny that you say that. I told my wife when it passed that we'd probably need to do that otherwise our businesses will get audited every year.

The money is going to come from Auditing small businesses and poor people who receive the earned income credit. Wealthy people have Accountants and there will be minimal money found by the IRS there. That's always the reality.
If you own a small business be prepared and talk to your accountant about co-mingling ANY funds or making ANY payments of a personal nature whatsoever. If you are living out of the business's checking account you had better change course in a hurry.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

This is the truth!! If you are married and both work for an employer you should be good. If you are running a business and tax dodging or getting extra creative, be worried. If you claiming your sisters kids and two sons who live in another state... be worried.. be very worried.. they coming for you.

I'm thinking stuff like owning a small business and buying a tractor and equipment for your hunting land out of business funds and claiming it as an expense is gonna be trouble. Unless you're in some sort of biz that could use a tractor.
