Dad always made us get real short haircut - sometimes a buzz cut. I tried being smart one time when dad said I needed to get my haircut and I went across road and coached my buddy to cut my hair - dad found out cause my buddy gapped it up and dad made me get an even shorter one ๐Ÿ˜€

Talking about mom buying jeans - we played so rough - I would get new pair of jeans and hav huge hole in knee first day - then dad would smoke my butt caise of it and mom would just sow a patch in and keep going ๐Ÿ˜€

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self
We need prayer for our country now more than ever

Stepping out on my deck every night and hearing the cicadas Iโ€™m taken back to sleeping on the screen porch of our camp house on the tombigbee in epes al. Every night here lately thatโ€™s my first thought when walking out. Good memories.

The sight of blackberries or black raspberries growing in the wild. Iโ€™d pick them and take them home and Mom would bake a pie.

Riding a bicycle (except for the creaky bones). I loved the freedom a bicycle gave me.

Anytime I smell an onion I'm reminded of my Dad. He would holler peel me an onion about every night. He would have a raw onion and eat it like an apple.
