Will any 5.56 BCG work for a 300 BO?

Unless you are using a weapon with a proprietary bolt carrier, yes. There are a few piston-driven weapons that are swappable like an AR-15 for caliber changes but require a special proprietary Carrier. But you’ll know if you have one of those.

Ok thanks guys!
I was wanting to buy a 300 BO, then I decided to buy a bolt action, then I remembered that I had some spare parts for an AR....

For the long run: even if you have an AR-15 in 5.56 and decide to build a .300blk, and keep both as uppers, it is advisable to use separate, dedicated BCGs for each. And if you suppress your 300 I’d look for a super-slick, easy to clean carrier. Remember that ARs crap where they eat and a suppressor sends a lot more powder residue back to the chamber area. 10-4 thanks
