Don't hold back...tell us how you really feel! I wonder what they did to him for failure to report? Any more to the story? I'm sure a lot of people feel this way.

If I were the judge I'd put him in jail through the end of the court session. Let him get a real look at the CJ system. It is funny though.

I reported for jury duty a few years back, thinking there was no way I would be selected. I was wrong. Two weeks of missed work later, the trial was over. When we went into deliberations and voting, I was told that I was an alternate juror and was free to go.... Same crap happened to me except it was just a full day. I was still ticked, you made me sit all thru this crap and then I don't even get to cast my vote!

He's got a good point but he should show up and say it in person even if it costs him a days pay.

Contempt of Court. He could claim that he didn't get the Summons.......but oops, nevermind. He ruined that with the response.

Just can't stand someone getting out of line so you can power trip his ass. You would follow orders till the end, probably put your own mamma in the slammer if they told you to.

Jury duty is an inconvenience most of the time, but to have that attitude about it is as bad as kneeling for the national anthem in my opinion.

I heard a comedian once talking about how to get out of jury duty and he said to say something like, "I'm prejudice against every race, creed, color, and religion, including my own".
