Question about space/big bang theory. If the big bang happened and everything is expanding outward, wheres the center? Im assuming this is part of the information in the theory. Ive never heard anybody say.

Not who you were asking for, and not 100% sold on the big bang, but I'm familiar with the theory.

It's not just that all matter was compressed into an infinitely small point, space itself didn't exist. There was not even an empty void, just nonexistence.

Space has been rapidly expanding since the big bang, and it all originated from a singular point. With this logic applied, everywhere is the center.

How does the theory explain all that nonexistent matter existing?

I'm pretty sure the nonexistence is just describe as nonexistence. Time didn't even exist before the big bang.

There is some faith required in believing this.

Sounds a lot like Genesis chapter 1.

Genesis 1, verses 1-5 describe the "big bang."

God created the heavens and the earth, separated light from dark, separated land from water. BANG.

The original reason for scientific theories was to give researchers a way to conceptualize things that are difficult to imagine. It makes it easier for them to make progress, and then the theories are updated with new information.

Leftist have been taking over the scientific community throughout the past few decades. Scientific theory is now treated as unquestionable truths, which is turning science into a religion. Scientist and engineers are inherently arrogant, so there was no shortage of them willing to get onboard. The power they get from it must be intoxicating.

Short answer and strictly scientifically speaking….IF the universe is infinite, then by definition there is NO center.

Center and starting point do not mean the same thing. I don’t have the energy to argue with you today over dumb chit. Have a great day and God Bless JW.

The starting point has since been stretched out in every direction, so it's everywhere.

Expansion is exponential, not linear. It is not just a sphere that is infinitely expanding out. All of the space created starts expanding itself, so picture an infinitely growing sphere that is constantly generating more infinitely growing spheres. Those new spheres will then generate more infinitely growing spheres... and so on and so forth. This is why we can look in any direction and see into the distant past.

That makes little to no sense to me but it is some sort of explanation so thanks
