Who has done it?

I've cut a kryptonite bike lock off with a reciprocating saw. Thought that would do the same to a master lock.

I was wrong. Then I got a carbide tipped blade, and it made short work of it.

Grinder with a cut off wheel is faster.

Most of the Master locks can be picked pretty easily by those who are skilled at picking locks.

Heavy duty bolt cutters or a grinder with a cut off wheel has always been my go to.

I have to cut locks or chains couple times a week. Bolt cutters are a thing of the past for us. I carry the ultimate master key.

Just a heads up - you guys leasing timber tracts that like to bypass the company lock during hunting season - it’s not keeping us out - it’s really just an annoyance and doesn’t go unnoticed.

I had to take a grinder with a cutting wheel to one of my locks the other day after losing both keys. 🙄

Took about 5 seconds flat if that.

I really don’t think it’s intentional. I’ve decided the majority of people have absolutely no concept of why it’s important that “all” locks on a gate be included when locking a gate back 🤬🤦🏼‍♂️.

Battery operated side grinder and cut-off wheel is easiest and quickest . Some of the big , 5 tumbler locks have hardened 3/8 shackles and key holes. Bolt cutters , hammers , prying and such ain't gonna cut it.
