We were cutting fields yesterday and I stopped to get the guy on the tractor some water. As he made the corner I saw a fawn come out of the vetch trying to get away from the tractor. It was no more than 5 days old and could barely walk. It wobbled up the road and within 2' of me bleating the whole way. It struggled up on the berm and stared at me for a couple of minutes and then made its way to cover. Pretty cool experience and glad that mower didn't get a hold of it.

We cut 24 fields last week and thank the Lord, we did not run up on one with the tractor

Pretty cool Ben

Found one this morning while bush hogging. Luckily it got up and moved. I’m guessing a day or two old

I’m trying to keep my field short right now. I have plenty of other thick stuff they can lay in.
