This is why rednecks shouldn't be allowed to have money. That and truck prices.

When I lived in Argo, we had an emu get loose. It would get out and chase cars on the interstate. I am sitting in the house eating lunch and see something moving out of the corner of my eye, and do a double take. Call Argo PD, and then run outside with some corn to feed it to keep it hanging around. PD shows up and says shoot it. So I T'd off on it with a 3in mag turkey load.

True story.

I saw a video of a cowboy in Australia where a Roo had grabbed one of his hog dogs and wouldnt let it go. Old boy ran up to the Roo holding the dog. It bounced around a few times and the cowboy started boxing with it. Drilled the Roo square on the chin and it released his dog, stood there looking at the cowboy for a few seconds and then took off.

Many years ago I was driving up to T-town and saw what I thought was the biggest jack rabbit on the planet,...it was that damn kangaroo.

My daughter and I were driving 171 early one morning several years back, she suddenly says look at that kangaroo, I just laughed and told her to go back to sleep it was a deer. Few days later the roo story came out, I had to eat crow.
