Went Sept./Oct. last year and wish I were going this year.
Enjoy and keep sending photos. We're burning up in this sweltering heat!

Hey, if you go into Cody take a DAY and go to the museums. Lot of western history and guns!

We much preferred Grand Teton to Yellowstone. Loved both though.

A trip to Yellowstone isn't complete without petting a bison.

Good deal. We took a guided trip down the Snake in one of the river boats. Great time. Hiking was the deal though. I could spend every summer hiking the Tetons and ending the day at Dornan's or Jenny Lake Lodge with a cold beer. So much to do and see there. A week wasn't enough.

This guy was just resting on the side of the road. He was maybe 5 yds away.

These guys got within about 10 yds of us before they decided to leave us alone to eat our lunch.

Yellowstone is basically a zoo for native American animals. There are several natural wonders that are truly awe inspiring, but the damn tourists are everywhere and the traffic is awful. The best parts of Yellowstone are the ones that are off the road and hard to get to.
