Like all 3 - Remington 700 270, Tika t3 in 2506 and the b-14 in 308 - really like all of them - the 270 May b my fav but the 308 is new and too early to judge - like the 270 bettr than 2506

#5 Winchester Model 70. IF you can find a Supergrade its worth the extra 400 - 500 dollars.. IMO by far the nicest of those on that list.

Out of that list, the X bolt if my favorite, but there are a lot of things that I would factor into my decision, how much are you willing to spend, are you looking for pretty (walnut and blued), harsh elements (stainless and composite)or lightweight (carbon fiber and ceracote). Winchester 70 is another fine choice, it would be hard to beat a classic 70 lightweight in 270 (the jack O'Connor special) Tikka is a hard to beat value with an silky action, but it carries like a 2x4 IMO. the stock is so chunky around the action and it has that ugly magazine poking out the bottom. Rem 700 is another classic, but I haven't seen or heard much about the new ones coming out. It's not on your list, but the selection of rifles from Kimber have always been high on my list, good build quality, lightweight and they carry great.

Tough one.id be nervous of the Remington 700. Tikka probably most consistent followed by bergara browning, weatherby and Winchester.although I here the new Winchesters have good barrels.
For looks Winchester and for accuracy Tikka but dang a x-bolt is very sleek and slender good shooters.
Bergara seems boring to me but supposed to be great rifles
I'd buy all of em...

I'd gamble on a Kimber hunter in that price range also

There's nothing "wrong" with any of the choices given. I'd pick the Ruger American or Savage 110 series and win the race to the bottom. And yes I'd like to see the new Remington be successful.

The Weatherby. Never seen one that wouldn't shoot. My favorite though is a Kimber right now, but its above the price point of those.
