Are they using field points?

They usually have field points, blunt tips, and broadheads. They're allowed 9 arrows. I'm guessing they get to pick how many of each kind.

I won't give any spoilers but some of them folks are pretty good with a bow and others should probably use it for firewood.

Have seen a few who want to commune with the animals and think eating plants and the occasional fish will be enough. And then they decide it might be time to snare a few rabbits. Too late, Boney McGillicuddy.

I'd take a .450 Bushmaster and mags. Course I wouldn't be allowed I'm sure.

I’ve seen them with small game tips, field points, and broad heads.

I still think the best one I’ve seen is the guy that shot and injured the musk ox with a bow, then ran up and stabbed it a few times with his knife. That dude was the real deal. He saved the stomach contents of the ox and ate it later when times got tough. Built a house out of stone basically. He was legit.

There's been a few women to come in second place. They may not be as good at hunting, but a slower metabolism gives them an advantage in survival.

I don't watch that show, but I watch Clay Hayes videos on Youtube. I was watching one last night and he mentioned that he was on the Alone show and was showing the 10 items that he took with him on the show. Kind of made me want to watch it. Clay Hayes is the real deal.

Almost all of the contestants are very proficient with a bow. They are wearing out some critters with them.

The one lady left is strong. But winter is coming and the fishing will be hard. I think it may come down to who can snare / trap.

I’m just now watching the newest season on Netflix. Klay just killed a young mule deer buck with a longbow with a broad head. There’s 5 people left. Was pulling for the guy from Tennessee, he had a hell of a cabin built but he started missing his wife and kid and tapped.

hares will be easier to trap in the snow, grouse easier to see ...
i'm betting on the doctor. his voice sounds strongest, and his narrative sharpest. of course, he could break his leg on deadfall next episode ...

That would be Matt. He has been in the current show in the Amazon killing the heck out of birds and tree rats
.No big game but some dang good shots with a traditional bow.
