2.75-3lb is my sweet spot for a hunting rifle.

What they said ,2.5 with a clean break is perfect for a hunting rifle .

I'm not too picky about weight, anything from 2 to 3.5 is fine with me. But its git to be like an icicle breaking. Creep and over travel is what I can't stand.

This. I prefer closer to 2 but a good trigger at 3 is way better than a crappy one at 2.

For a typical hunting rifle, 2-1/2 - 3 lbs works for me, but it must be a clean break without creep. A good trigger at 3 lbs will feel lighter than a 2 lb trigger with a lot of creep.

Love my TIMNEY @ 2 lbs. Lightly place finger on trigger, think about pulling it, boom. It solved a flinch/shot anticipation problem I had and did not even know about. Was sighting in one day and forgot to put live round in and when I pulled the trigger it was obvious.

I set all mine at 2.5#

I can't stand a creepy trigger

Use to hav the jerks - sent rifle to g-smith - i thought I had to pull my trigger a mile - he tested it at 8 pounds - awful

He reduced poundage - Now it probably set at 2 - don’t take lot of pulling - Lov it - stopped jerking

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

Set the new timney to 2lbs was trying to get it to feel like the others but was questioning myself cause sometimes in the wild they don't feel the same.lol I knew my others was 2.5-3 lbs but this new one feels about the same at 2 lbs so can definitely see what y'all are talking about and it might be a little cerakote may wear off the cocking piece and lighten it up some more.hopefully not
