There’s really no rhyme or reason to their timelines.

I bought a thunderbeast and then submitted my paperwork (paper file)
About 6 months later I had some extra cash so I bought an AAC .22LR can and paper filed just like the thunderbeast
a month later, I received a call telling me my suppressor was ready to pickup.
Made my way to the gun store and they no-shucks had the stamp for the .22 can already. Thunderbeast didn’t come in for almost another 5 months after.

Most of y'all know that I work at Nichols outfitters and we sell a ton of suppressors. 90 days was pretty accurate on the e-file system (some as short as 75 days) when it first went live.but there were software problems on silencer shop since then so it's spotty on how the verification system is working. Some days it works fine some days it won't do anything. It's been a huge headache. I've said since day one expect more like four months. The new e-file system is definitely speeding things up from the old way of doing it.

How long is it taking yall to get the final step/papers sent. My understanding is once i docusign i am now waiting on the atf to approve a form 3 so SilencerShop can send the cans to my dealer?? I was first told 2-3 days in this part and now im over a month. At that point is where I understand my dealer can send the final paperwork for the big wait?? I have no idea because this is my first time. Im fine with waiting, just making sure im not waiting because of some glitch that a phone call can fix.

You didn’t do an eform if you submitted on Sept 21. Eform did not start until late Dec 21/Jan 22. You submitted a paper form, which is a 12-14 month lead.

As already mentioned eform times have gone from 90 days to 140-160 now. I have two in jail.

If at all possible DO NOT USE silencercentral or silencershop. Find a dealer that does eforms at the store. Southern Outdoor Sports in Dothan can do it. On both of mine I bought my stamp and submitted my paperwork in store, got the email from the ATF that it was now awaiting approval before I left the store. No waiting on them to submit.

I used silencershop. Forms were submitted in January, picked it up in May. It wasn't the 90 days they claimed, but way shorter than I ever waited. I feel bad for you guys who submitted paper forms before the E-forms came out. Yall just got sent to the back of the line.

I'm 3 weeks in on a Dead Air . Dealer has been seeing 2-4 months on average .

Got one in jail as of yesterday . We will see

I've been waiting since last August on paper file.

Since last July on a Paper. Since end of this June on Eform.

I'd be calling everyone I could. I don't fool with the silencers much but if I'm not mistaken that until you everify you're just sitting in limbo. I've been on waiting on one can since the end of feburary
