I got some mulched and regret it. Wished I just would’ve hired a dozer with a rake. Ehh then you’re left with piles to dry then burn and if you’re keeping any trees potentially damaging the root systems of the keeper trees. Both have a purpose.

If Matt can’t help you call Dallas Taylor. He did some for me a few weeks ago. He did a good job. (205) 485-3545. He is either in Double Springs or Natural Bridge but came to Winfield and did a job for me.

Tyler Rains, north alabama land clearing did mine. Huge machine, twice as fast as a skidsteer mulcher and wider head.
Mine was 3-4 acres of thick pines up to 50 ft tall and 20-24" trunks. Left me 8-12" of mulch chips And I was happy to get them. At yr 3 its mostly all broken down into soil.

I can see the point but every time I bend my cutter on stumps I can’t see I say cuss words 😁

I couldn’t be happier with the mulch job I had done last year. The problem with bulldozers is the pushing off of top soil and it is gonna wash every time. The mulcher even leaves the grass, it’s the only way I’ll clear a field from now on.
