So the dumb thing hasn't taken a pic in over a month or more. I moved it to a different field and finally had them change my plan to the free one. 100 pics a month. Today, the first day on the new plan and it takes 50 and sends them to me.

They are a scam.

That was my experience with them. When they work they're pretty good cameras but when they dont they'll make you wanna bust them to pieces. It seemed like mine would work pretty good for a little bit and then they would come out with a new update for it and as soon as I would update it it would quit working.

You just as well pay a year at the time, set it on every ten seconds and get 200 pics a day. Alot of doubles and pics of grass but atleast you get your moneys worth. I bet i get 50000 pics a year on each of mine. Right now its mostly just the wind. Im just getting a few pics of deer but i dont have any feed out.

Oh and card is full... Of what?

It does the same thing in the fall. It will take 500 pics a day if you get on a plan other than unlimited.

I have been running 24 of them for the last 2 years. Have had 2 that went bad, both were replaced in less than a week with no hassle. Most of them are normally on the free plan, have seen no difference in the number of pics they take when going back and forth between paid plans. They are, like most game cameras I have used, much more prone to false pictures in spring and summer when leaves are plentiful. 100 bucks a year to join club, and all my cameras get 250 free pics a month instead of 100. I have found no other company that comes close to that for free. Most of mine I use for security, gates, barns etc. Once I find and remove whatever causes false triggers, no problems. Cameras I use for deer I run the unlimited plans on and don't worry about false triggers, after awhile you learn what causes them and avoid most of them. 96 dollars a year for unlimited with club discount. There are better quality cameras out there for sure, but none that I can run as cheaply as these. If I was only going to have 1 or 2 cell cams I probably would have something better, but I can probably run a dozen spypoints for about the same cost as 2 or 3 of the expensive cameras. Sorry for the long post, just my experience with them.

I have been running 4 for four years now with no trouble. I always keep the firm ware updated. Have extra cards that I keep updated and if I need to visit that camera. I will put the new card in.
I will be purchasing the new Flex model when it comes out

Ive got one that wont take a picture. It has been about a month. Yesterday I moved it to a tree in my yard so I can start messing with it.

I also put new batteries in it but it still only says 20%. And 50% signal no matter where I move it.

Mine doesn't take many pic's until fall. Then all of a sudden every leaf that falls out of a tree sets it off. I swear they control them. You have to think about what they are paying in data fees. They don't send all the pics they take, but then neither does a tactacam.

If I stay on the $15/mo plan, like I have been, I get nothing. But as soon as I cancel it, boom.... the pic floodgate opens.

And this is with the sensitivity turned to low? Have you updated all your cameras? Reset them?

I have two SPYPOINTs left. Both do real well, but I’ve had two others that were sorry and never worked well. As these stop working I’ll replace with Tactacam if I keep having stood luck with them.

Look in the "status" tab on you app under that particular camera and be sure it is communicating by checking the "last communication" date and time. Kinda sounds like it just quit talking to the cloud and may need a reset or firmware update. You can check your firmware under the same status tab. The Spypoint website will tell you which version is the most recent and how to update if necessary.

Last communication is 5/2/2022.

Thanks, I'll have to do some more reading to figure out how to update. I'm guessing it isnt an outdated firmware problem because it was bought in a 2-pack and the ither camera works fine.

I had link evos and had quite a bit of trouble out of them. Theyd go long stretches working fine then go haywire for a little while. When they went obsolete, i got the minis with the solar power rechargeable battery and they e worked great so far. Battery stays at 100% all the time

If it quit taking pics, its trash. If there are pics on your card and its just not transmitting, theres hope yet. You might have to call spypoint with the camera sitting in your lap, as bad as that sux.
