So We finally got internet through the Joe Wheeler flash fiber. Im ready to cut the cord with Dish Network. I made a list this weekend of the channels we actually watch. I wont list them all but to give you an idea its sports, Natgeo, History, Discovery, AMC, Cartoons, Outdoors. Locals too. I have seen it hashed out here before but what provider is best. Hulu? I dont know how very much of this works. We have a couple smart TVs that are already connected and a fire stick I havent even used as of yet. Wife has an amazon prime account , daughter has netflix.

You can go to each provider's site and look at a channel lineup. You can also probably google the topic and find an independent site that will let you do side-by-side comparisons

If you need locals Hulu is best for the channel’s you mentioned. YouTube TV doesn’t have the History channel

It may cost you the same to keep all these cable channels. I cut the cord back in 2006 and went to straight rabbit ears for about 10 years. Now I have Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. I really don't count Prime because I get it by default. But my grandkids watch the same Avenger shows and I told my wife to just cancel Disney+. I will just buy the shows they watch on Amazon Prime and have then forever.
I still watch all the local shows on rabbit ears, NBC, PBS, Fox, ABC... etc. You get a bunch of channels with just the old antenna.

T or F. Youtube and Hulu don't offer the Hunting and Fishing channels ? Where do you pick them up ? (Outdoor, Sportsman's, Pursuit, WFN ) I don't think those are negotiable at my house. A lot of them have free apps.

Looks like if we go with Hulu they cover almost everything we view except Outdoors and Halmark channels. I can add Frndly for $6.99 and get sportsman, outdoors, and Halmarks with them.

I see my wife watching alot of Pluto and Peacock. Alot of times you can piggy back off of someones else's account for netflix and hbo max, etc. Prime has alot of content, but I wouldn't advise NOT sharing them credentials, due to the fact of, in app purchases. Seems like the most efficient way, is to get something like paramount plus or starz. When you've seen everything you wanna watch, cancel it, and get something else for a few months. We still have dish due to a contract, but after that, we're gonna drop it.

Download the Pluto app to your tv. It’s free and has the Outdoors channel plus a couple more outdoor channels. I have Hulu for everything else

I use Hulu live for my cable channels and have no issues. I also have netflix, prime, and paramount plus. I really like paramount plus. For free streaming i like Tubi. it has some good old movies on there.
