5 X 12 black utility trailer with expanded metal floor and gate stolen last night from the High Point Community. (Marshall County) My son had borrowed it to haul a mower and some 10' pallets. He left it parked at home while he went to take care of some other business. This morning it was gone. It has reflective dot tape across the back and gate. The very last crossmember ( right below tailgate) is bent slightly upward in the middle. If you see it shoot to kill.
Ok,just kidding on that last part but I sure would appreciate a phone call or a pm. John. (Two 5 six) fi fi 7 nigh fi1 two. On my way now to file a report with Marshall Co. Probably won't ever see it again but I gotta try.

My neighbor has to park his trailer at the back of his driveway, but keeps a lock on it. I mentioned that lock only slows a thief down. He showed me a Apple Airtag he has hidden on the trailer. It gives the GPS position to his Apple phone.

In hindsight those are probably a very good investment.

I think if an iphone unrelated to the airtag has been around the same airtag for more than like 2 hours, it notifies them they are around an airtag or something like that. But if you hide it really good. Plus, chances are they aren't driving that far, they have a barn or garage they are going to quickly get it to unless they are from out of town. So they drive 45 minutes away with it, park it and you will see where the last known position is. I know they have their limits b/c of how they work, but for $20 per year basically(b/c of battery life you just have to replace it completely), worth it for some things.

Thank you very much. It's not very expensive as far as trailers go but its also not insured for the same reason. It does get a lot of use though so I'll have to replace it.
