whats yers????

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I sacrificed a hunt for myself and took a buddy today. Killed a stud and it gobbled from 6:45-9:45. Prolly the best hunt I’ve ever been a part of. His first bird. I hope that if I have a jinx now, it is in fishing or golf maybe

One of coworkers brought me a new camo hat. I wore it, but felt a little weird about not wearing my regular hat. Wife and I have killed a few, so I am not worried now

I’m weird about my clothes. I try to just air dry them rather than wash… unless they get real bad muddy or bloody. I try not to ever wash my hat, etc. been wearing the same greasy ugly hat for about 5 years now. I only where it hunting

I don't believe in jinxes and am not superstitious. That's all bunk.

I had a ball cap I wore while hunting 15+ years ago. Killed pile of turkeys and alot of memorable hunts while it was in use. When I replaced it I put it in my vest and it has been on every hunt since.

It’s bad luck to be superstitious.

Seriously though, and this comes from being raised on boats, no bananas aloud. Not in the camp, the truck, at breakfast. Not even banana bread. The banana curse is a real thing. I took a friend with me one time. His first turkey hunt. My paw in law had some land in Wilcox Co loaded with gobblers. Heard 6 or 7 every time I went. Except when I took this guy. Didn’t hear a single gobble. I was bewildered about the whole deal. I kept saying, “man what the heck is going on?? They ought to be gobbling their heads off.” Then my buddy pulls a yellow laffy taffy out of his pocket and starts unwrapping it. I nearly slapped it out of his hand. He ruined the entire morning.

Last 3 years felt like a jinx - my property not great though - ain’t sat down to good gobbling turkey all year - sat down to one that gobble 4-5 times - called him in - most morning I never even sit down to work one

Many years back I had spots where I always worked birds - killed lot to - always sat down to one

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

No flour allowed in a truck or camping box.
It’s assuming you will kill one….
If you have a little luck on a hunt and want to fry turkey, you drive your ass into town for flour.

Ever since that Bumblebee got up my leg and stung me thigh high I've had one . I killed turkey though.

That needed to have been recorded

I wear the same hat every year. Bought it in 2005 at the outlet mall in Foley. . I think this year may be its last because it is getting pretty rough.
