I’ve been looking for a long time for what I consider a “deal”. Finally found one. Picked up a new to me mahindra 5545 a couple of weeks ago. 2017 with 130hrs. I appreciate everyone’s help and input. I believe this is about the optimal size for me to easily trailer, but still have a lot of azz behind it. I looked at all the major brands and the mahindra 45 and 55 series are the only ones in that 50hp and down range that didn’t seem like suped up lawnmowers.

Looks good. I was in a similar situation recently. My only hangup with Mahindra was dealer support i.e. the lack of any around me.

Congrats! My daughter-in-laws's dad was storing his 55hp New Holland at our place that we could use but he is about to get it back. I happened across a 2021 6065 Mahindra with 104 hours and a FEL a few weeks ago and jumped on it. Larger than I was originally looking for (45 hp), but it was a good deal compared to brand new. I rarely have to trailer my tractors and this will be a big help with logs on the sawmill since none of our other tractors have a FEL.

Also, I agree about the suped up lawnmowers. My 13 year old son wanted to go to the Farm Machinery show in KY back in February for his birthday. I looked at all of the brands there and still liked the Mahindra the most.
