A of my plots except for one are thick and growing good. I have one that the deer have absolutely mowed to the ground but it’s in the best spot on the farm and I haven’t hunted it yet.

Deer are browsers. Will they eat corn year round, yep. Grass, yep. Peanut butter rubbed on a tree, I guess. But these southern deer like to browse, and the woods are still full of stuff around here. I know it’s crazy, but deer in the south don’t need any food we provide to survive, and they won’t complain a bit.

Alright, we good? Back on track

According to cameras and what I’ve seen the past 5-6 sits, deer are moving just fine in this warm weather. Would it be better with cold? Of course it would but like jb said, I’ve seen and had plenty of daylight pics lately

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Our food plots are tall, and deer are killing them. I think the warmth and moisture has made them grow faster.

Out plots are being used, but mostly at night. Typical of this place since I hunted it.

I do expect that widespread acorns and corn have had something to do with the lack of activity.
