So the wife and I got back from PC Beach last Friday...one thing I noticed while watching any local news channels down there is the media's coverage on all this Rona stuff. Here in Bham the local channels covers it for 15 minutes of a 30 minute news cast, and its covered over and over and over. Down there its no big deal and the corona stuff may be mentioned for 20 seconds or may just have a scrolling little tab at the bottom of the tv saying a total of 5 patients are in one of the hospitals down there. Here its all they talk about !!
Just my .02 cents worth.

And the wheels on the propaganda machine just keep on turning...... I would have thought you would have a hard time enjoying yourself down there with the stinch of all the dead bodies laying around

It was all over the place when the rates were up, but since the rates dropped and DeSantis went around Biden to get the monucolonals it went quiet.

I am spoiled. They have a ton of acres planted and they're mowing/burning about half of it as it comes mature. The roads are all fixed nice and where they are muddy the brush is cut wide on either side so you can go around. I wouldn't do dogs unless it was upland area due to all the gators. In about three hours I saw 15 deer (from the car) up to ten yards and none of them spooked. Covered up in game of every type - they even still have wild quail and a season on them.

They lease the fields to ag farmers - what a brilliant idea.

I almost forgot. Quota hunts are the only way to get into about half of the WMAs. There are no draws. For online, they open registration at a set time each year and your name goes on the list as you register and you get a confirmation email. All quotas are first come, first served. Random draws introduce the possibility of corruption so they're not done here. Some have paper quotas that are handed out at the check stations each day. You line up and get your quota permits until they run out. You just count how many people are in line to decide if you want to get in line as the number of quotas is posted for all to see. You have to check in and out each day at the check stations regardless of what you're hunting.

I travel all over this state weekly and no TV station pushes the Covid agenda like WSFA does in Montgomery. Any news story they cover about our state or the city they’ll get the shot or mask in it.

For example: Two Montgomery males, Jarqraveous Harris and Donterryious Jones were arrested after robbing two crippled senior citizens at gun point yesterday in old Cloverdale. Neither the thugs nor the victims were vaccinated or wearing a mask during the crime. The CDC, Joe Biden, Dr Fauci and the entire progressive democrats recommend that everyone is vaccinated and wear a mask for the rest of your life. Shalisa Johnson reporting for WSFA News.

WSFA went to sh1t when they fired Rich and drove Bob Howell out. NBC calls the shots for that station now.

Florida is being led by DeSantis. He has been anti mask, anti vaxx, anti liberal agenda from the get go. Florida's numbers are right in line with everybody else's. Further proof that covid is all about government control. DeSantis better be on the shortlist for 2024

I hunt 200 acres about a 1/4 mile from there. I get at least one good 8 or better off that property every year. There is some big bucks coming off of that place.
