Success in college football is 99.99 the Jimmy’s and joes. The X’s and O’s Are an after thought. Sabans success at bama is because he has the dominant black athletes at every position. The dominant black athlete has athletic abilities that a white player willl never overcome in a game situation. This is why notre dame will never win another championship. Remember in the 90s when Colorado was winning. It was because they lowered their admission standards to recruit dominant black athletes. Notre dame won’t do that so they will never have dominant black athletes to compete with sec schools who are able to sign anyone that can read on a 5th grade level.

Saban knows how to coach & control dominant players. LSU has just as much talent but Coach O can't control or coach them ,it takes more than someone with a 5th grade education to learn his defense.

Milton(former UCF QB that was injured in 2018)came in after starting QB had to come out for a play due to his helmet coming off. He stayed in the game and started the comeback. Kid is lucky to be able to walk without pain, much less play football. Incredible story and only wish they could have won.

Yes some of his players are intelligent. The point is that many of the kids you see playing for auburn, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, those kids aren’t even on the radar for notre dame and many other schools. The coaches can’t even attempt to recruit most of those kids due to the university’s admission standards. The point is, if you took Alabama’s best 22 players, took LSU and Georgia’s best 22 players, and sent them to Vanderbilt on a scholarship, Vandy would have a 99% chance to win the sec. Talent and athleticism gaps outweigh coaching ability. It’s truly takes a miracle or perfect game with at least 3 lucky breaks to beat Alabama due to that gap in talent/athletic ability. That outweighs coaching or what saban calls the process.

Talent plays a big role in it but coaching does to ,just look at LSU,if Notre Dame really wants a kid &he wants to go there the will find a way to get him in.

Not so fast my freind....wait til the money starts rolling in for these recruits, like the booster that gave Pitt 20 Mil the other day to buy recruits.. No Ncaa or anyone else for that matter to stop them from buying players....Remember SMU? Jimmy Johnson and the Caines in the 80's? Money and paying these players with no caps is gonna ruin college athletics....Dont think for once that Notre Dame will ever be out of the picture...02

Other teams have great recruits as well but nobody gets more out of them than Nick Saban. We have some 5-stars that never pan out but it's not common. Saban knows how to develop them and get them looking like a superstar
