I just read this in our local paper. We are just one of 47 counties considered in the "very high risk" category.

We'll be in a higher risk category for becoming a third world country if they keep pushing this thing.

I reckon as long as people call me wanting a tree cut, ill go cut them. I thought when all this crap started last year my business would go to crap for sure. It didnt. Somehow covid has been great for my business. I guess the fear of impending doom makes people want to get their trees cut.

If Memaw shuts us down again, she can retire to a life of rug munching and liver killing. No way she would be re-elected if she brought those mandates back

The nonsense isn’t over. They’ll try to stir it all back up again when it’s convenient timing for them. Shouldn’t be too much longer.

The governor has repeatedly said she would not reimpose restrictions and I don't think she will because of the political damage it would do to her re-election chances. New restrictions by democratic MAYORS is another matter.

I attended a meeting last week and the topic of school shutdowns was discussed. Everyone there was in agreement that we would probably be shut down again. We agreed on the plan from last year and have set up class times from last year's schedules to teach online if needed. I am so ready to return to a normal working year. I did not ever have the virus and was exposed several times to it and sent home to quarantine. I spent my quarantine time in a tree watching deer. I had my last living uncle pass away from covid after he was placed on a respirator. He was 6'6" and weighed 245 when he was admitted to the hospital. He was a huge Alabama football fan and passed away the day after Alabama won the National Championship. I am kinda split on the virus, about like a loaded gun-It is something to respect, but not to fear.

In the email we got from Admin, 80% of our recent covid admissions and the two deaths were unvaccinated patients.

So the other 20% had gotten the shots?
