Being the absolute genius that am, I dropped my wifes 7-08 axis II out of a treestand and broke the stock on 1-3-21. This gun is an absolute little tack driver! (I could not find an aftermarket with a compact stock)contacted Savage that day by email and phone and NEVER got any response. 3 weeks later, I sent another email with my reference number asking what do I need to do to buy another stock and that your website states a 3 day turn around and it is pushing a month! Customer service rep sent me a response apologizing saying they were swamped and sent me a new stock for free! Nice doing business with an American company that goes beyond to help customers!

A quick response is one of the rarest things on the planet these days. Glad they got it took care of. I like a savage myself

Only gun I've had from them was a a22 mag that wouldn't eject everytime and they fixed it n returned it promptly...not the highest quality stuff but I've put a lot of rounds thru this gun and it's done well since

I've sent Savage a question on another model a few weeks ago and have yet to get a response.

Been shooting my savage 308 since the early to mid 90s. Have never had a single issue with it but good to know if I did, I can get help to deal with it.

Savage guns are very accurate. Shame that they are so ugly!

I got in touch with the sales rep and he told me they are so far behind right now if you ordered a gun from them it would be October before you might get it. Biden panic is making it impossible to get anything related to firearms right now
