No matter which side of the mask debate you are on, you should want these guys to succeed with their mask manufacturing business.

These are made in the USA - Texas to be more specific.

If you need masks or are responsible for ordering for your company, consider these folks.

Please read the article if you have time. It was rather eye opening to me.

It always rubbed me the wrong way you have to buy a mask from the sonofabitchs that caused this crap. I’ve always used N95s for woodworking and haven’t bought any in a while so I think I’m gonna order some from these guys.

Why buy masks when the stores give them out at the door? Just save a few

I wish we could start getting nitrile gloves from the USA. All of my supplies, but especially gloves have gone up at least 3-5x and that's when you can find them.

. Yeah, when you can find them.

Not all stores give them out at the door, but when they do, I use them. I went with the Shema97.

To throw a little more salt on the wound, most of the needles being procured to support the covid vaccine kits is from china. Some are American, but the production capability here was too low I assume, plus the cost was much higher. There is some manufacturing expansion support in-work to increase American supplies.

Becton-Dickenson is a needle supplier near the town I used to live. For the last over 25 years they have been working 24-7 making needles. Every Sunday in the area paper they have taken out 1/2 page ads begging for help, and these jobs pay VERY well. People that work for them just get burned out after a while even though they only work staggering 3 day shifts. They've also expanded that building and bought out medical companies in the last few years to keep up with demand, and I'm sure their price is higher than China, but they can't make the product if there's no one to run the machinery.
