I am amazed on the subjects on ALDEER. I hesitated jumping in to the fray but what the heck. As a Christian you would know there are no small or big sins, a sin is a sin. There is no issue clearer in the Bible than Homosexuality. It is ABSOLUTELY clear it is a abomination against God. Phil Robertson said it best, “There is nothing normal about a man wanting to insert his penis into another mans anus” . So if it is not ”Normal” then there is some type of mental defect that makes that attractive. I would venture to say the guys on this board that take the position, “I am not gay but dont think it is up to me to decide if its a mental deficient” are of the younger generation. No offense against the younger generation but they are brought up in this society if it doesnt affect them directly, its not up too them to say its wrong. What one generation tolerates, the next generation accepts. Another issue that needs to be pointed out is nature. No other animal species have a “homosexual” society. You never see “Gay” animals. This would lend to the argument that “people chose their lifestyle, they are not born that way. Saying someone “didn't have a choice to be gay, they were born that way” directly conflicts with the Bible. Why would God create a gay when the Bible is so strong against Homosexually? Lastly, saying someone is wrong because they are homosexual is not judging them or even saying you hate them. Hate the sin, love the sinner.....

Many good points here. A sin is a sin is a sin. A distinction that needs to be made of sin is between committing a single act of sin and then asking God for forgiveness and then trying to refrain from that sin. Homosexuality is a sin that is a continuous, unrepentant lifestyle of sin. There's a difference. 1 John 1 teaches that right there

Sounds to me like maybe this calls for a little more study time and a little less fudge packin
