Ridge Life OP 14 point R Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 9,373 Northwest Bama	Several months back I posted here about a gun I had in a gun safe at my brothers house. The gun was a marlin 30-30 that my grandfather gave me on my 13th birthday. The gun was supposedly lent to friend to hunt with and my brother never got it back. (Stolen) I never questioned my brother about the the situation bc I knew he’d beat himself up as bad as I have for not having the gun in my possession in the first place. Prolly saved an argument, harsh feelings and maybe saved our relationship as brothers. I prayed about it a good bit, kicked my own tail more than anything and tried to find the fella that had it. Over the Christmas holiday I found the gun in my cousins closet looking for one of my old hunting jackets I gave him. My brother had let our little cousin hunt with and forgot about it. He’s taken very good care of it and it looks as it did when I last saw it. So when he comes home from basic training to find it gone and back in my possession, I believe I’ll give him granddaddy’s Ol Winchester 30-30. I Think he’s prolly earned it.
