Really don't know the whole story, but i think i have a good idea why outback is no longer a Moderator!

His neck is red as Alabama clay
Now he's goin' home this time to stay
Where the roots run deep on the family tree
And the tractor rolls through the fields of green

This place reminds me of working in my aunt and uncles chicken houses when I was a kid….This was before they all went automated and you actually had to walk the houses getting the eggs out of the nests instead of having them brought to you on a conveyor….I got to work both systems.

But you would look down this long stretch of chicken house and there were hundreds….thousands of hens and roosters piled in on each other just going about……and at nearly any given point in time you could look down the house somewhere and they’d be two roosters squared off on each other with their chest feathers poked out and neck feathers ruffed up…..flogging each other. No sooner than they get done then on down the house somewhere, there would be two more start it.

Well, eventually at some point without fail during the process…..you’d be going along picking up eggs when “WHAAAAAP!!!!”…..out of the blue one of them damn roosters would flog you from behind for no damn reason whatsoever……Next thing you know your kicking at that rooster…….he’s still trying to flog you….. and you’ve been drawn into it like just another chicken in the house.

Hey, y’all know little speck of white stuff on the top of chicken chit?? Do you know what that is??..............

…………That’s chicken chit too. grin

Wrong. That’s chicken pee. Chickens don’t urinate. Their urates come out in their intestines and that’s what the white stuff in chicken poop is. Now you know.

Would that apply to turkeys and other fowl as well?
