the blame lies on the owners of NASCAR and the owners and coaches of the sports teams for allowing the radical players to dictate actions to the coaches and owners. Severe lack of backbone. Totally agree. If I wore a BLM shirt to work, I'd be fired and rightly so. The vast majority of workplaces in America do not allow political protest and comment because of the very thing we see on the news, it's divisive and contrary to a healthy work environment. At the end of the day, these players and drivers are employees of a company and the owners of the companies have allowed their employees to do it.

If I could watch sports and not feel like I’m watching CNN I’d watch it. Sports should be sports. I don’t care what severely overpaid athletes do on their off time. Just like my MD/surgeon. I want him/her to do their job and not tell me how horrible their life is. If they do, I’ll move on to another one. Until sports returns to being sports I aint watching. I don’t feel sorry for the rich, oppressed athlete. You mean you don't think Lebron James' life has been nearly as hard and terrible as he'd have you think it's been??  "But at the end, when they go home, they're still black". That is the response i read about lebron just yesterday. OMG, he's black. That's their last angle...they've been refuted on everything else...so in the end, "he's black".
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

I agree with Fred, but the owners have to make a buck at the end of the day, so they have to play both sides of the fence to keep the money flowing. playing both sides of a fence gets a fence picket up yer azz
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
