Anyone have a Leupold optic with Firedot illumination? I am wondering if it’s worth the extra coin. During the day, is it bright enough to pick up for fast target acquisition?

Those Firedots will spoil you. They have a bold enough reticle that you don’t even need the firedot in normal light. But yes to answer your question. It is definitely bright enough to pick up in the daylight.

I have a couple, and they're good scopes.

I’m brand loyal to Leupold. Looked but never bought one like you’re wanting. Mainly because I don’t have another rifle to put one on. I’d be tempted tho....

It’s legit in bright and low light. I have several, for the price they are a great 30mm tube illuminated scope.

Have hunted with one a time or two. I liked them

I love the one I have.
