Wow that is terrible and why I refuse to let homeless or suspected drug addicts inside a 15-20ft range. I had to take my daughter to children’s Tuesday and she wanted a drink right as we crossed malfunction junction so I pulled off at the captain d’s drive thru just north of there off 65. I was sitting at the pickup window when crack head approached my truck and was going to come between my truck and the pick up window telling me to give him something that he had nothing. Once he got within 5 ft of the front pumper I told him I wasn’t interested and to move along I had my daughter in the car and didn’t want him any closer. I unholstered the 9mm at this point and clicked the safety off with it below the dash. I told him not to come any closer or I would shoot him. The girl at the drive thru window could see the pistol in my hand and I guess could tell I was not going to let him get close enough to my window to harm me. She broke and ran for the manager who came out the front door screaming the crack heads name that he better leave that the guy in the truck was about to shoot him if he came any closer or tried to reach in my window.
Poor crack head couldn’t run for pulling his sagging ass pants up but he done his best to clear out. My daughter who was 8 had done got in the floor board with her fingers in her ears by the time it was over. I say all this to say be careful and never let one of these hopped up addicts get close enough to have the opportunity to take your gun before you can draw and accurately shoot them if it comes to it. That video is a prime example of what can happen if they get inside your circle.

Wow, just wow. That is tough to watch. The potential dangers that officers deal with on a daily basis is real.
