It's a trend happening in Pentecostal churches and the UMC, especially. Not to hijack, but have you seen the movie American Gospel, that
exposes the WOF prosperity movement that is gaining traction?

Yes I have watched the American Gospel. Everyone needs to see it! I think a follow on movie may be released or near release.

Yes thats why I said in another thread its deep rooted powers also in religion...I feel crazy sometimes knowing what I know but its all stuff I've researched and I'm glad I aint the only one that sees whats happening...this is a big push from satan right now and its really to late to do anything other then spread the truth

These churches like Hillsong, Elevation and Bethel have great music programs but are marred by social justice platforms and bad teaching. You'll rarely hear anything about sin or the five Solas.

Those named churches are given to a movement called NAR. New Apostolic Reformation. It is very dangerous theology that tickles the ears of the culture. Some of those mentioned give themselves to what is called “grave soaking.” That is, they go out to the grave of a deceased “saint” and lay on their grave to soak up that dead persons mantle. Where in the Bible do they get that? And yet folks and churches love their music without looking under the wrapper to see who they are and what they behold to.

I am convinced the Holy Spirit is working through men such as these and men bringing their convictions to bear, like y’all on this forum. Blessings. FWIW my pastor has denounced BLM several times from the pulpit (we strongly support a faith based racial reconciliation group) and has received criticism about the BLM commentary. The leaders have told him he is on target, don’t let up.

I prefer our church to restrain from political views of either side. We go to church to escape the evil ways going on outside. To ask for forgiveness and try to understand who is really in control. Not anyone else.

soalaturkeys never give up praying for your pastor. He needs good faithful men supporting him in these days for he truly has a lonely job. And yes he is a man too with many flaws but with a mighty calling. (I say that in general for I do not know you, your church or your pastor. I just know pastors are targets of the enemy when they stand on the Word of God with boldness).

Well its kinda like perch posted earlier...it ain't about dem vs republican its freedom vs tyranny now days...and good vs evil the bad part is evil is everywhere now not just political but within the church also...I just think everyone needs to do there own studies and pray and research anything u hear or being taught

The problem is folks are getting away from bible based churches and flocking to the feel good churches and many times they don’t even know what their church believes. There’s a very large church locally that friends of mine attend. They have no clue as to some of the doctrine/teachings the church claims to believe in.

Its because most people's doctrine comes from bumper stickers and things they've heard on t.v., rather than the Bible.

Episcopal churches in Mobile have banners on their front door saying #BLM.com. We aren’t putting up banners against BLM, but the subject came up in the course of a few sermons that BLM is Marxist and anti family and anti police and we don’t support them. I wish y’all could hear last Sunday’s sermon. Jist was we need to stand with Christ above all else. His word. Period.

My wife has labeled them cults.
