I deleted my account years ago. 10-12 years ago. I recently got a new account and have all my settings on private. That way I don't get friend requests. I use it to follow a birding group that I'm interested in. The only friends I have are ones from that group.

When it first came out I was a freshman in college. We all had it.....it was a great tool. When I graduated college I closed down my account and haven’t been back on.

It's all what you make it. From a business standpoint it can be a very useful tool and it's a good way to communicate with several people in a group at once, like the football booster club at my son's school. I agree there are a lot of liberals on there but their posts are like posts you don't like on here, just scroll past and don't read the comments.

I see it as a challenge. If Zuck hasn’t given you the ban hammer for at least 7 days then are you even using your Facebook in the correct way? I’m currently on account number 4 and just got done with a 30 day stint. I have a notebook that I have to write down all the fake emails and information I’ve used to create various accounts but there’s just nothing like watching a liberal lose their mind in a comment section when you hit them with a fresh conservative meme.

I don’t understand why people get mad about what they read when all they have to do to avoid what is making them mad is not read the news feed or don’t follow groups or organizations that promote things you don’t agree with. I have Facebook, I have never read a news feed, don’t even know what it is. I don’t follow groups or organizations that have values that don’t match up with mine. I interact with friends and family much the same as getting in aldeer. You guys say social media is the devil and then you get on aldeer (social media) and complain.
