Yes it is. Certainly the case on my place in SC. Have seen a number of does with little ones crossing roads and have jumped some that were bedded on my property in the last few months. They drop early here compared to Bama but I’ve been hearing the same thing from folks back home.

I have several pictures of fawns and a couple of doe that were still huge as of last weekend. When I was at camp last weekend, there was a fawn bedded under a camper. I was surprised to see it shoot out from under it. Never seen that before.
