When there was no trespassing, the men that owned the land grew up or lived through the depression. They wouldn't think of denying a boy of hunting.

Gas pumps with that little glass half bowl on the side. Had balls in it that spun around as your gas pumped out.
Also remember pumps you had to hand pump the gas up into the top then gravity fed into you truck.

And it was 25 cents a gallon.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

WLS was out of Chicago, WWL was Nawlins. The WLS night DJ was Larry Lujack. Spent a many an hour listening to WLS.

When a coke machine was a chest full of Ice cold water and they only made 6 oz Cokes. Nehi, Bubble up, Grapette, tab, RC cola is about gone too.

Milk and ice cream delivered to your door. Charles Chips in the big metal can, Grandfather and Dad plowing garden with mules. Saturday night races on the highway in Eva, they had the quarter mile marked off. Mountain Dew is glass bottles with the hillbilly on the side. RC Cola and moon pies were a big treat.

When kids begged for a job. And took care of their stuff. They knew if they lost or broke it, daddy wouldn't replace it. i remember helping my dad replace the boards in the bed of his pickup. most pickup didn't have AC or power steering and most steering wheels had a knob to help turn it. watching SKY KING, Loyd Brides and Gene Archery on Sat mornings.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
