Feds pay $400/week unemployment only if state will pay $100/week. Some states are saying "we just cant afford it". Alabama says they have enough funds for two months worth. Seems like a little encouragement to get folks back to work. What do yall think?

Well something has definetly got to change and get the work force back going, I’ve been furloughed going on two month due to this Covid bs government scandal. Schools have to get opened in order for my job to get back going and I can’t wait to get back to work.

dont exactly agree with it all myself. But with the total ineptitude of congress now days he is about the only one that gives a damn about the people in my opinion. Dear Nancy and chuck are wanting trillions tacked in for the democrat run cities and states they have run in the ground. I’m glad trump has a set nads to oppose them on it. He is about the only one up there still fighting for us best I can tell.

It could definitely be setting a bad precedent, but having Congress in a perpetual state of stalemate between sides doesn't work too well, either.

If being a sitting member of Congress would be approached like serving on jury duty, this would all correct itself. No lifelong positions, no huge salary, etc. Just do your civil duty and go home.

Heck people that are still working are signing up for unemployment and getting it. State is sending employers notices that they can appeal it with in 14 days. Trouble is that the notices are not getting there until after that 14 days has expired. The place I know this is happening may have to lay off all part time employees because they have so many wanting to not work and claiming exposure to get paid for not working. It is fraud but nothing is being done by the state because they are over whelmed I guess. They need to start prosecuting these people. I bet if they started trying to collect money wrongfully sent they would never get a dime back.
