Rather than run off a PTO shaft like one on a tractor would, this one has a small engine that drives the belt. You can pull them around with an ATV, SxS etc. they make an offset hitch for them so that they pull over to the side of what you’re pulling it with. That would let you cut closer to the pond edge without driving right up to it. I think that would do exactly what you’d want.
