On May 30 2020 a security guard hired to provide security for a reporter and camera man the ventured into the Riot zone in Seattle. At 4 pm they approached the abandoned police precinct and several police vehicles. There they encountered Rioters (ANTIFA, my words) rifle shots from an Ar the looters found in one of the Sevcurity agent armed with a Glock handgun, secured his charges and then advanced on the rioter with the AR. John Carughi was a Marine infantryman, he disarmed the rioter then made him leave the area. John then removed the mag, cleared the chamber and removed the carrier group and charging handle. The Marine then disarmed a second looter and disabled the second AR. These actions made John Carughi instantly famous.
