Sorry about your stuff. We have a small lease in Marion that has been hit a few times. We decided years ago it was better to not leave anything of value in the club house and to leave the door unlocked.

I hate it. I hope you have insurance. I keep all my schit insured just because of all the crime in low population areas.

Man I hate to hear that. we know not to leave anything at camp we wouldn't mind loosing. only thing we leave are beds, a coffee pot and non perishable foods. Some times if we know we are going to be gone a while we'll leave a liquor bottle full of piss down there just incase some one stops by

Cell cameras are so cheap these days not sure why anyone would leave equipment at camp without one keeping watch. That really stinks.

Look at a ARLO GO cam. its a battery powered cell video cam and notifies you instantly like a RING doorbell cam does.
They are about $400 but im betting right now youd gladly pay that $400 if you could get your hands on them.

We know where the ones that hit us live bc they rode a atv down a powerline to get our generator out and it had a weird / odd tread design which amazingly enough matched the tire in the driveway About a mile down the road. Leo did nothing. The locals say they this specific house is the source for most thefts in the area but they’re smart enough to not have anything on their property so they can’t do anything. The fact of the matter is pretty much any club in the Blackbelt that is within easy walking (and loot carrying distance) from a public road will get hit at some time. It is sad but true that in this part of the country thievery has almost become a way of life. About the only thing to do if your club fits the description of being close to a public road is to pay one of the locals that lives close by for watching over the camp. I know this sounds like Mafia stuff but it almost is required. Either that or expect to get hit at some point and try to make the most valuable stuff hard to get.
