As I recall, (or maybe I just dreamed it) horse ivomectrin and cow ivomectrin are very different. Years ago, my vet was showing me how to cheaply keep my dogs heartworm situation under control, and he stressed the point of using one but NOT the other in a precise dilution rate per dog/pounds.
Be careful messing with home remedies.
