To add to doekiller, you might want to dig a tad deeper into the second World War on who fought. Try starting with Native Americans. Then move on to blacks. Then if you get to feeling froggy, research Japanese americans. Also, everybody should try to get there hands on some research about how the Japanese people and a percentage of military were brainwashed by their government. Specifically dive into Iwo Jima or several other islands on how the Japanese military left there own for dead and fed them BS about they were dying for their country and dignity. Not condoning what they did especially to some of the Chinese people, but do some reading about all sides of that war and it comes to light how citizens are dragged through destruction and death by the greed of their own government. Like others have said it was courageous to put an end to the Pacific Theater. If not I may not be here today.

If it wasn't for WHITE MEN in this country stepping up during that time the world would look a lot different right now. That's a full on bullschitt post! men AND women of all races, creeds and nationalities that were American citizens fought to defeat the Axis powers that threatened the world. YOU have a very narrow and misguided view of who stepped up and fought for America in WWII.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Yep all Americans committed to the freedoms of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. All just possess differing amounts of melanin. All are created by God for His glory.
