A sleeping giant was awakened on December 7, 1941 and on August 6, 1945 she got most of her revenge...

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

and Japanese. They were preparing to fight to the death with swords and bamboo spears. Invading the Japanese mainland would have caused huge casualties on both sides.

What seems to escape many is that there were troop carriers headed to Japan full of American heros. If the bombs hadn't been dropped many more Americans and Japanese would have died in an all out invasion of Japan. God Bless those that saw the need and necessity of dropping them. Remember, one was dropped and Japan was given a chance to surrender. The emperor refused and we dropped the second. Its hard to believe but there are Americans that think dropping them was wrong. They don't understand it saved countless American lives.

My granddad always said don’t forget the name Paul Tibbets. He’s the man that won the war.

War is ugly at all costs. But freedom must stand! God bless the USA! And God please help us! And thank you Lord for giving to us the privilege of living in the greatest nation on earth!

May we work to maintain liberty, freedom, and protect the Constitution of the USA. For America is under attack this time blatantly from within (Democrat Party, ANTIFA, BLM, tyranny, and anarchy, the media and high tech - FB, Twitter, Google) and without (George Soros and Communism).

August 6th is the day that the monks and crazies protest outside the nuke plant up here. They are against nuclear weapons and warfare.

Someone needs to tell'em that if their ancestors hadn't started it...we wouldn't have ended it.

I doubt very many here are for nuclear or any war. But if you gotta go, go all the way. Otherwise, stay home and let somebody else do the dirty work.

My grandfather was one of the few men allowed to calibrate the Norden bombsight. He was a watch\clock maker by trade. He was protected my a pair of guards 24 hours a day. He was rarely allowed off the base.

I love my country, but don't trust my government.

If it wasn't for WHITE MEN in this country stepping up during that time the world would look a lot different right now. It pisses me off to see what these half of sissy and welfare recipents are doing to our country. These great men and women during this time were the greatest generation

I've wondered if those japanese leaders that survived WW2 & the emperor himself, thought Pearl Harbor was worth it after the incineration of hiroshima & nagasaki. Gob bless all of our WW2 vets!

I saw so many things online today blaming the US from dropping those bombs. frak them. They need to blame Japan.

The only thing worse than 🇺🇸 dropping the bomb, would have been if we're 2nd in line.

Thank God that our country had politicians and military officers that had the guts to do what it took to defeat the enemy. No matter what the collateral damage was.
