Yep Facebook had bricks falling out of butts over this the other day. People just think anything that pops in their head to do must be ok. Wild animals are not pets and should never be caged, except pigs before you thump them.

the people that tamed the dang thing should look in the mirror if they want to point blame. If they didnt teach the thing to be comfortable around people it wouldnt have been put down. that story reminds me of that mayor that killed a racoon with a shovel at the boat ramp, lady was filming it threatening to call the police. if a racoon or a deer just walks up to you in broad daylight somethings wrong with it.

I read it and got a little excited with my wild animals ain’t pets diatribe. Wild animals still aren’t pets and people that decide otherwise are sideways with reality.

My issue wasn’t with him putting the doe down. But leaving the 10 day old fawns to fend for themselves was a bs move. Of course it doesn’t help that I know the gw in question and have seen firsthand how underhanded and shitty his attitude is. He’s the classic example of a guy that does not need a badge nor a gun.

Definitely a case study in just how quick misinformation can spread on social media.

I still don’t know how old the Doe was (3-7) and or how many fawns (1-2) she had.
How many time the 80 yr old lady was attacked or if she went to the hospital. I think I read the majority of the post.

I did see few videos with the Doe interacting with children. She would lay her ears back and shift her weight like she was gonna rare up but then it appeared she would relax.
I’m no expert but I’ll assume she was posturing aggressively or defensively.

I was amazed at the direct threats made towards the officer and lady that called it in.

I had to delete my last post.

He’s one of the best I’ve ever dealt with and you won’t meet a finer person outside of work either.

If you knew the facts of the situation you wouldn’t say such things but some on here just like to flap their lips.

Some of you obviously never dealt with the jerks we had up here for years either.

That's my mayor! Hes up for Re-Election

I had a mangy looking fox walk up to me on a golf course once....middle of the day, this thing was skinny, mangy looking, eyes glazed over and stumbling. I had walked off from the cart looking for my ball (typical) and didn't have a club in my hand, otherwise I'd have tee'd him up and put him out of his misery. He disappeared into some woods and that was that. I don't know if it was rabid or something else, but he wasn't long for this world at that point.
