Its 12.5 ft long by 6.5ft wide and might weigh 3500lbs...it was an originally an early 70's popup but now its frankensteined...it has no title or vin or...well nothin..i knew a utility trailer needed one an the dang internet is so vague im a little confused. This sucker is originally 40+ years old an i didnt think trailers that old needed a tag.

Yep, if you tow it and get stopped by the popo, they will give you incentive to register if it don't have a tag. Make up a serial # and bill of sale from John Q Public with 'homemade' as the manufacturer. Stamp your serial# on the tongue somewhere.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Ok, i just read if its made before 1994 it doesnt need to be registered....so...this thing does or doesnt...cause according to the state of alabama dmv website..it dont...i literally jist found this info and am more confused now...

It wouldnt be an issue if i had just thought of this earlier in the week,and thats my faul...but we leavin to go to the gulf in the mornin an it just got mentioned to me an i hadnt thought i needed one til now...im an idot

Get it when you get back. I've had several vintage campers, they need a tag, just not a title.

I would just go ahead and get a utility trailer tag so you dont have to worry about getting pulled over.

I’d be more worried about the camper making it to the Gulf and back. Kind of what I was thinking if you didn’t replace the original hub bearings and put new tires on it. Chances are that you’ll get a ticket. I’ve been pulled over for not having a tag on a office trailer that was a rental. A few years ago I built a 4 wheeler trailer out of an old sixties model u haul abandoned 7’ trailer. I welded my own serial number on the tongue and took it to the Alabama Department of Revenue and they attached a data plate to it and off to the probate office for a tag.
