I fully support what they're doing but I see this as the official kickoff of the Ainsworth for Guvner campaign.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

If it cost tax money for her defense against the lawsuit, I don't support it. Nobody is enforcing it, most are ignoring it. It's gonna cost everyone to defend it and everyone to pay the settlement. I've wasted worst tax dollars.

That case was decided on July 15 by the Court of Aldeer.

For those not really following: round 1 went to Gov. Ivey over the no-mask crowd.

I wonder if there will be an appeal. Sounds like it's a done deal due to previous actions.

Governors do not have the right to make laws, except on aldeer of course Correct. But, she didn’t pass a law. She issued an executive order. Under Alabama law, she can do what she did when there is a state of emergency. It is in the code of Alabama.

So whats the protocol for punishing citizens who break an executive order? I havent heard about too many fines being issued. I figure there have been some. But with as many people as there are blatently disregarding the executive order, you would think there would be more. I figured there was a problem legally enforcing the mandate. Easier to enforce it at a business level. Close businesses because of health code violations, revoke business liscenses and such. Kindof have the businesses do their dirty work for them. This is just the things running through my head. Asking you because you know "the law" § 31‐9‐22. Penalties. Any person violating any provision of this article or any rule, order, or regulation made pursuant to this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than $500, and may also be imprisoned in the county jail or sentenced to hard labor for the county for not more than six months. But many law enforcement agencies have said they will either (a) enforce it through education rather than through arrest/citation or (b) not enforce it; makes most/all of Alabama a "sanctuary state" for the no-mask crowd.

Which only reinforces the point, that the governor has no authority to make laws. And thank God common sense still prevails among most of our law enforcement agencies.

I wish they would enforce and fine every swinging Dick that blatantly walks past a sign on a private business. I wish they would shoot every moron wearing a mask. So there.
