Based on the reports, unless I'm reading it wrong, it sounds like the AK guy wasn't the one who was hit by the guy with the pistol. Someone else was.

Protesting for 50+ days straight. Sounds like he needed to get a job or maybe that was his job, paid protester. Not any more, he got what he was looking for, just didn't go the way he imagined it would

Dr. B If Texas has laws similar to Alabama AK guy will be going to prison for murder then since his actions set off the chain of events that led to their death. If you shoot at someone forcing them to defend themselves and they miss you and hit a bystander you are responsible for that death and that is exactly how it should be.

From what I'm reading this morning. The AK guy approached the car at low ready(which is a hop and a skip to firing), the guy in car perceived that as a threat and fired 5 times killing AK guy. The last 3 shots are from a CC person in the crowd firing at the fleeing car. Interesting to see how this pans out. This is a good reason to avoid protest areas.

It I was on the jury = not guilty I 100% support your right to carry a firearm, but as soon as you point it at someone then you are about to shoot and are 100% the aggressor.

If this is correct, from the sounds of the video the driver must have been carrying an AR pistol or something of the like. That definately does not sound like hand gun fire. Either way sounds like he didn't miss and ol boy won his stupid prize at the stupid game booth.

What a lying piece of crap, "he may have had a gun to protect himself" why would you be there if you needed a 30 round clip to feel safe, and sounds like he fired first, why is he firing first, he got what he deserved... So in your opinion, it is unreasonable that a person carry a gun for protection. Also, how many rounds are sufficient to feel safe without being too many? (See how this works? The slippery slope of gun control.) FWIW, I have no problem with the guy walking around with as much weaponry as he can tote and with as much ammo as he can drag along. I also have no problem with someone shooting a person who points a loaded weapon at them... no matter if at a protest, walking in WalMart, or standing at the truck after a dove shoot. If you draw down, you better be ready to fire.
