Turn off your headlights while loading/unloading your boat.

Same here. Another person backing down the ramp got out and asked me to turn mine off. I asked him to show me how. Now I know what that switch is for!

You can turn them off. They all have an off switch.

I guess it's more of a problem at multiple lane ramps?

I know the secret to turning them off in my truck, but I have to admit I'm not sure how to in my wife's Yukon.

Why I have to pump the dome light button 3 times seems like overkill though.

Early 2000s general motors vehicles, you could push the parking brake 1 click and they would go off. Might still work.

When I get a boat I’ll be the asshole at the ramp. I’m sorry! Just gonna apologize now for the lights and shitty backing of the boat.

Go practice duringbyhe week when its not crowded. Prep the boat before pulling onto the ramp. You will do well!

Don't know what year Yukon you have, but on earlier models say 2000 or so. The fuse box on left side of dash pull either fuse 15 or 17 . It is the one for daylight running lights.

It's not how much money you make, but how much you can keep.

Not necessary.
If your auto switch doesn't have an "off" function just depress the parking brake one click.
The lights will turn off

I don't understand the problem, please explain it to me. Where are you when it's a problem for you if someone has his lights on?

I am usually all alone on the ramps I use, but I would like to understand the issue.

I wondered the same thing, then thought about places with multi lane ramps. I try to fish based on low traffic times and very rarely use a multi lane ramp. I can see where backing beside someone would be tough.
